One day the teddy bear was sick, so Dog went to take his teddy bear to the doctors office. The teddy bear was scared because it was his first time at the doctors office. The next day, Dog took his teddy bear to the doctors office. When it was is their turn, teddy bear was so scared, he told Dog that he did not want to go in there, so Dog told him it will be ok. So, he went in there and sat down. The doctor came in and checked teddy bears throat. It seemes that teddy bear had a cold. The doctor gave teddy bear mediceine. He look weird because he always wore a big hat and acted weird. One day at school a another kid named Sam went up and talked to 'the Weird kid'. "Hello. I'm sam." Sam greeted "Beep..Hello. I'm Al." The two of them talked and after scool went to Al's house. Al took Sam up to his room and they started doing homework. Then Al gave his new friend something to drink. After Sam drank it everything started to turn black. When Sam woke up he looked around, he was no longer in Al's room, but in a spacecraft. "What happaned? Where am I?" Sam asked "I gave you a drink to knock you out and took off to home." Answered a voice When Sam looked to were the voice was comeing from he some Al. The only difference was that he wasn't wearing a big hat anymore, in there place was an atena and his skin was know a dark green. "What do you mean we took off to home?" "We are taking off to my home planet." "What are you?" "I'm an alien of course." Al said with a laugh. "Why were you at school" "I was at schopol to look for someone we could use." "Use for what?"Sam asked getting nerveusly "You'll see." And with that Al gave Sam another shot and Sam fell asleep again. When Sam woke up he looked around and he was in his room. Sam thought to himself was that a dream? Then, his mother called from downstairs that he better get ready for school so he decided that it was a dream. When Sam looked out his window he wasn't looking at the street he was looking at a blueish surface and instead of sky he saw space with miilions of little stars. If this kite can take me up, I'll drink apple juice from a cup.") The kite got up, and flew all over the zoo. It flew around a lion's cage. It flew over the elephants. It went in the water tanks(the king couldn't breathe;he wished for an air helmet)and swam over the fish, penguins, etc. Then, it whizzed past a parrot. The king saw a monkey. That's how he saw the animals at the zoo. It was the greatest day ever! name : Mekenna age : 10 location : Wellington,Kansas title : My Dad,The Doctor,and The Seeds story : Well Mekenna and her dad were on their way to the doctor's office and her dad says,"Lets go to the store first and get some flower seeds."So they did and once they got the flower seeds they went to the doctor.When they got to the doctor's office Mekenna came in and sat down in a chair and her dad came in and started to sprinkle the flower seeds on the carpet.When Mekenna saw what her dad was doing she said,"Dad what are you doing?"That is what the doctor said too and the doctor took the seeds away from Mekenna's dad and sai,"sir have a seat please until it is your turn to have a check up."So Mekenna's dad waited and waited until finally he heard his name be called so he gopt up and went with the doctor. Kate smiled as she rolled over in bed, glad that she didn't have to wake up early for fifth grade. It seemed like she had just closed her eyes when her dad's voice awakened her saying," Kate. Katie. Time to get up." "Whum?" Kate mumbled. "Why?" "Spring cleaning," her dad answered. Kate sighed. She threw back the covers and got out of bed. Then began the worst day of her spring break. Kate's first chore was to clean the windows and mop the floors. First, she mopped the floors and got them sparkling clean. Then, she carefully washed the windows. But when she climbed down the step ladder and stepped onto the floor, she got a surprise. The water had dripped all over the clean floors and... "Owwwww!" Kate cried as she fell and hit her head on the slippery floor. She got up groggily and then began to mop the floors all over again. Her next chore was to vacuum her room. Kate was talking on the phone while she did this and wasn't paying attention to what she was doing. She lifted up a piece of furniture to vacuum under it and when she put it down... "Eeeeeeek!" she screamed as the table landed on her foot. She hopped around on one leg, wincing in pain. Her dad rushed in and asked," Are you okay?" Kate nodded. "Well, I'd better take you to the doctor's anyway," her dad said. So they drove to the doctor's office. Kate turned out to be fine and for her help in spring cleaning, her dad bought her a new doll and let her take the rest of spring break off from cleaning. |
