We have two different recipes for lemonade!

The first is easier. Use the juice of one lemon, added to one cup of water. Add sugar until it tastes right to you.

The second may be better, but it's more difficult.

Cook 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of water 3 minutes to make syrup. The syrup can be stored in the refrigerator.

For each glass of lemonade, use 1 1/2 tablespoons of lemon juice, 1 cup of water, and 3 or 4 tablespoons of syrup. Mix thoroughly, and pour over ice.
