There's talented Rachel and Tim and plain old Jane Winter. Their father is recovering from
an illness. A vacation in America is just the thing he needs to get writing again. Right off, Rachel has the glory of meeting ballet star, Posy Fossil, Tim starts earning money from his piano playing,
and Jane watches them and is jealous. To make things worse, she had to leave her dog in England. But then a producer wants her to be Mary in a movie of The Secret Garden. Jane is already always grumpy, will glory make her worse?
