Now, the principal was really skinny, but he didn't think that the shoes wouldn't fit him, so he tried them on. The shoes started moving immediately, and since the shoes did not fit the principal, he had a hard time with the shoes' fast pace and he was flung from the shoes, leaving him barefoot as he flew through the air. My family and I just moved from Alaska to Alabamba. The school that I'm going to right now is called Bennett elemantry school. The anly thing that is bad the teachers and the kids is what makes me have nightmares. Today after school my parents said we will be going on camping trip with a nice walking path right through it. We were going to leave right after I got out of school so I had to pack every thing that I wanted to bring on the camping trip into my back-pack. It was so heavy with any thing that you can possible imagine was in there. On the way to my class room my book bag ripped open and every thing fell out. The two boys that were behind me took my rollerblades ran off and sold them for 50$ I don't know who but I left every thing behind and hurried off to class. The day passed by slowly with a borring begining to the end. Fianly the bell rang but I didn't want to go because I didn't know how to explain an empty back-pack? who's going to watch Charlie while were gone? (Charlie the dog) I thought to myself. HONK HONK "that's them I have to go and explane to them about the tragity. Instead I said "who's going to watch charlie while were gone!" " we put him in a day care" they replied. 3 hours later we arived at the camp ground. The stars and moon darkend the sky causing us to drift away in our deep sleep. Morrning arrived fast. We got into the car and turned on the radio and the spokes person said"HELLO EVERYBODY IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR ENTERTAINMENT COME TO THE MESUEUM AND SEE THE AMAZING CHARLIE"! "That can't be our dog could it he's at the day care we left him at right"? "Let's go see it's only a half hour away" my parents talked to each other about. We were there at the mesuem and there were crowds of people crowding around(that dog) people were saying"ooooooooo aaaaahhhahhahahahahahaahah wowowowowowowowowow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! people steped aside so I could see the amazing dog do it's tricks. when I saw that dog I was truly amazed that dog looked right at me and came running right to me on rollerblades "Charlie" I yelled with excitment."How did you excape the doggie day care that we left you in" My parents said with wonder. people wanted our autographs and to hold little charlie but we said no he was my specail dog and I'm the one who dose all the talking. H tried every thing to cure the bloody wound at her ribs. That was easily fixed but he still could not get her to wake up. And at las he did and I know it might seem silly, but a donut cured her senses and she awakened, still very dry but healthy. And she too fell in love with the doctor. Of course, she had to be put back into the ocean where she belonged, though she still saw the doctor now and then. She was excited and sped outside to wave her hands franticly in the air. She was saved. After three years, she was saved. But since he had been in this cave for so long, He had forgotten that he was royalty, a king. The only thing that was left in his possetion was a futeristic object made of strong metal. A camera. How he got it. We will get to that later. He thought being a king was a dream, a hallusionation because of the lack of light and the dryness of the stoney walls he had become mad and crazy. How could anyone be served food whenever they wanted it? How could anyone have people hunt for them? He had tricked himself into thinking these horrible things and forgotten who he really was. He thought to him self a while and something popped up into his head," I AM KING AND EVERYBODY SHOULD RESPECT ME FOR ALL THE ROYLATY I HAVE!" The king felt very puzzled, he didn't know what was going on. Once he arrived at the circus he found he was surrounded by a small crowd of purple people. He did not know if they were naturally purple or if they had died themselves purple but in any case he did not ask for he thought it would be rude. Suddenly a beautiful monkey apeared in the corner of the bright yellow stage, the monkey was holding onto a lovely black mirror with a border of glistening elephants. The king was shocked at the sight of the gorges mirror. All he could do was stare at it all through out the performance as it spinned through the air and reflected the most beautiful images. At the end of the performance the monkey began to head straight towards him, then the silky brown monkey handed the king the mirror and swept off into the sky. Everyon e cheered as the king stood up with the mirror in hand, for he was the chosen one. But in the shadows stood a little lonely seal who just sat there sorrowfully. The king felt guilty that he had so much and now was just given an incredible mirror and this seal had nothing but his on feelings of sorrow. So the king swept over to the seal and with a skinny arm he handed the seal the mirror and marched of proudly. In the corner of his eye he could se the seals sulken eyes light up with hapiness as he gazed at the unique mirror. name : Ava age : 13 location : IN title : The Jewel of Peace story : I yawned. Life was so boring. Why couldn't something MAGICAL happen to ME? I stretched and stood. I looked at my black Lab puppy. She laid in the dirt staring at me. I shook my head and started to walk. It was too hot! I had to go swimming in the river behind our house in the woods! I itched my arm and continued. My mom would know where I was, she had said I could go. In the woods the river ran deep and soft. I got into my bathing suit that was under my clothes and sank in slowely. "SO cold!" I cried to myself. Atfter dipping under water a few times I floated, eyes closed. When I opened them, I got a serious shock! I sat on a under-water stone! I looked around. A... a jewel sat in front of me. It shone brightly and I picked it up. I took a shivering breath. Breath? I screamed a shrill scream and looked at myself. I was a mermaid! Me, a mermaid. I spun around when a hand touched my shoulder. "You, you picked up the Jewel of Peace!" another mermaid cried. Merman, actually. Others appeared. Mermaids? They were not real! I gasped and tucked the jewel closer to me. It shone even brighter and turned warm. I blinked four times. They were all smiling with sharp teeth, gills flapping like a fish. Webbed fingers stretched towards me and fins kicked. I screamed again. "Please take the jewel to our king. We need more peace then they do!" cried a group. "No, our queen should have it," yelled some purple fins. The green fins waved at me to give it to them. I shook my head. "What is this things??" I asked loudly over their shouting. "The Jewel of Peace!" they all cried. I just looked at them. "Any kingdom that holds the jewel will have peace forever. What is your kingdom? Your tail is rainbowed!" said a blue fin. I paused. "The Unitied States of America," I finally said. I began to swim away. They looked at each other. I faced upwards and saw the surface shining abouve me. I heard a cry and looked back down. They were chasing me! I swam faster, thinking about my human life. With each thought my tail disapeared and I became more human. I was almost to the top when fins, webbing, gills, and other such things disapeared. My breath was gone before I could reach the top. I shook my head and pulled one last stroke, and took a deep breathe of the muggy air. I was taking my second when a webbed hand grabbed my ankle, pulling me under. I faught hard, and kicked out of their reach. I dragged myself out of the water and watched the last mermaid swim away. I shook myself and put back on my dry clothes. I was almost home when the jewel slipped from my hand. I looked for it but never found it.
